moving
In case you're wondering what's happening here: yes, tossed in translation is finally, and after some consideration, moving to somewhere else... it looked like there were just too many people sissied at the perspective of having to create an account in a foreign language for a blogserver that i deem highly trustworthy. Tsk tsk tsk.

So if you're interested in weird oddbits about translation and the empiricial study thereof, please move over to tossed in translation, too over on wordpress. However, the address here will not go down... once the move is completed, this here spot will reopen as the Molasarian Homesick Blues... if you can't guess how a forgotten place like Molasaria might be intriguing for someone who has been known to do the occasional voice-over for great Cthulhu, the new content might not be all that interesting for you, after all... if you do, then sorry to've kept you waiting for so long!

in passing
quick comment, entirely unrelated to translation, and with a view to london and strasbourg: i might be of this opinion or of that. that is irrelevant. what, however, do i have to do express my opinion in public without somebody abusing it as an excuse to damage stuff and "fight for peace" out of a half-baked 19th century ideology that is based on the same misjudgement of the human nature as is communism? (am i the last to notice a paradox in the above quotation? tsk.)
